(A review of Coheed and Cambria: Live At The Starland Ballroom)I first heard of Coheed and Cambria back in 2003 after the release of their second album, In Keeping Secrets of Silent Earth:3 (which is mind-blowing), but i was young, stupid, and only attracted to the most poppy-sounding song on the record. It wasn't until my brother had me listen to Live at the Starland Ballroom that i really got into them. I was blown away. I had never heard a band sound so good live. Their sound was so unique and refreshing that I immediately fell in love. The music itself is completely out-of-this-world fascinating and the live record really won me over because i could tell that Claudio Sanchez has a stunning voice, and that he, Travis Stever (guitar), Michael Todd (bass), Josh Eppard (drums, prior to current drummer, Chris Pennie) are very, very talented musicians. I recommend Starland to everyone. Its life-changing. 0 comments, Reply to this entry
